USATS HELICOPTER FLEET

Our helicopter fleet is comprised of piston and turbine helicopters to successfully meet our training philosophy. More complex turbine helicopters (S-70 BlackHawk - MD 530 series) are available at our other training locations for government and contract clients.

Our maintenance is performed by our 145 approved maintenance facility. Moreover, our aircraft are used by FAA examiners for their own VFR, IFR and NVG currency and are required to be annually checked by the FAA maintenance department.

Our MD530 comes with a dual Garmin G500H TXi™ suite along with a GTN 650 Nav/Com/GPS and a EICAS system.

Our C172 are offered in 2 versions: with standard IFR instruments and equipment, or with Garmin 1000 and autopilot

The DA42 is equipped with a full glass cockpit G1000 coupled with an autopilot.
