EASA TRAINING COURSES

Theoretical Knowledge (TK) Modular courses

EASA ATPL/IR Helicopter:

 

Pre-requisite to the course:

  • Hold an ICAO private pilot license

  • Hold at least a level 4 English proficiency

Course:

  • 750 Hours of training on campus with our EASA Ground School Instructors

  • 8 months training for completion as it is combined with your FAA commercial flight training

  • 14 Exams undertaken in Melbourne, Florida

  • Examinations are valid for 7 seven years towards your ATPL(H) license

EASA ATPL Airplane:

 

Pre-requisite to the course:

  • Hold an ICAO private pilot license

  • Hold at least a level 4 English proficiency

Course:

  • 750 Hours of training on campus with our EASA Ground School Instructors

  • 8 months training for completion as it is combined with your FAA commercial flight training

  • 14 Exams undertaken in Melbourne, Florida

  • Examinations are valid for 7 seven years towards your ATPL(A) license

Flying Modular courses and Type Rating Courses

EASA CPL(H):

Pre-requisite to the course:

  • Hold a valid ICAO PPL(H)

  • Hold a valid class 1 EASA medical

  • Hold at least a valid class 2 FAA medical

  • Show evidence of at least an ICAO level 4 English proficiency

  • Have 155 total flight time including 50 hours as PIC of which 10 hours are cross-country

Course:

  • 35 Hours of flight training on campus with our EASA Flight Instructors

  • Total training hours can be reduced at the discretion of our Head Of Training, based on previous experience and licenses or ratings already held

  • License Skill Test performed on campus

EASA Type Rating:

Pre-requisite to the course:

  • Hold a valid helicopter EASA license

  • Hold a valid EASA medical

  • Hold at least a valid class 2 FAA medical

  • Show evidence of at least an ICAO level 4 English proficiency

We provide the following initial or recurrent type rating training:

  • H269 (Schweizer S300CBi)

  • Robinson R22 and R44

  • Bell 206 BIII

  • Night rating

EASA Modular and Type Rating
EASA Integrated Course

Integrated course

 

Our EASA Integrated course combines training to acquire an FAA private and commercial certificate along with an EASA CPL(H) license. The EASA TK examinations are valid for 7 years towards your EASA ATPL(H) license.

You also have the possibility to obtain your FAA instrument rating, Flight Instructor and Instrument Flight Instructor certificate. Have a look at our Professional Pilot Training Program.

​Pre-requisite to the course:

  • Be at least 17 years of age

  • Hold a valid class 1 EASA medical

  • Hold at least a valid class 2 FAA medical

  • Show evidence of at least an ICAO level 4 English proficiency

Flying and theoretical knowledge integrated course:

  • 750 hours of ATPL(H)/IR theoretical knowledge instruction on campus

  • 14 TK exams undertaken in Melbourne, Florida

  • 135 Hours of flight training on campus with our EASA Flight Instructors

  • License Skill Test performed on campus
